  • Review of Minutes:  Minutes of July 30, 2014 meeting were accepted.
  • Treasurers’ reports:  None available. 
    • Havasy will write a letter to Parkland regarding missing information on the detailed financial records that we will need.
  • Officers Reports
    • Grounds
      • 14 houses had their driveway sealed.
      • Havasy will follow up with Parkland to determine when they will plant the missing three trees.
      • The town building officer could not provide a date on the installation of the cobra light at Vista Drive and route 146.
    • Architectural Control:  no changes will be made to the rock in the circle. The beautification effort is discussed below.
    • 11 homeowners signed up for the smaller 35 gallon containers with County Waste resulting in a reduction in our monthly billing.
    • County Waste Vacation and Snowbird notification:  Email: bonnieh@wcnx.org or telephone 518-877-7007
  • Old Business:
    • Vista Drive beautification:  the Board agreed to spend up to $500 of our capital fund to do some seeding and fertilizing of the grass, and mulching of the trees on Vista Drive.  We will have a “work day” on Saturday, 9/27 to accomplish this task.  We need folks with good backs to turn out for this effort for about two hours.  Ray Burkitt will provide a flyer with further info.
    • Circle beautification:  this effort will be postponed until spring.
    • Tree mulch:  our intent is to mulch the trees along Vista Drive this fall and do the same for the rest of the trees next spring.
    • Circle - stone etching – will not be painted
    • By-Laws and Covenants review:  Tabled for now.
  • New Business:
    • Fall picnic – Ed & Chris have agreed to host a fall picnic for the HOA   Everyone should bring a dish and/or a drink to share.  Chris Galka will coordinate so please call her at 952-4441 or email Chris at cmfgalka@gmail.com with your specialty so we get a good balance of food.
    • Fall workday Saturday 9/27 at 9:00 AM – see above
  • Other business:  Paula Cannata #27 announced that she’s putting her house up for sale in the next few weeks. She does not plan to use a realtor and will have a professional sign on her front lawn by appointment only. If anyone has a friend interested in buying in the Vistas, please contact Paula directly.
  • Next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, October 8 at 6:30 PM, at TBD.
